 A New Joint Venture

CSMA Classic Vehicle Group Road Runs

Following meetings at the 2009 NEC Classic Car Show, together with follow-up discussions, an exciting new joint venture has been set up between the Cavalier & Chevette Club and the Civil Service Motoring Association Classic Vehicle Group.  Each Club has agreed to invite the others’ members to their programme of Road Runs.  So check out the Classic Vehicle Group section of the website for news and information about their forthcoming Road Runs.  Our Club Members are warmly invited to participate.

Please take your Club Membership Card along to the CVG Road Runs as proof of membership.

·        27 June - Windrush Sunday Run in the Cotswolds

A quiet drive through country lanes, starting in the Oxford area and heading up into Warwickshire with some interesting places to visit. 

·        11 July - Heartbeat Run

Following on from our first venture into Yorkshire last year, this Sunday run will start at Pickering and tour the North Yorks Moors, finishing at Goathland, famous for …………. you’ve guessed it, the TV series Heartbeat

The hotel at the start can be booked at a special rate for the weekend, so that the Saturday can be spent experiencing the famous North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

·        22 August – South Downs Run

Starting in West Sussex and following a scenic route through villages within the South Downs, to finish with a personal showing of a private collection of many classic and veteran cars.

·        26 September - Three Shires Run

The 11th running of this very good value event around Hampshire and neighbouring counties. 

·        16 October – Kent Russet Run

Always popular, the theme for this year’s event is the Roman Invasion. What’s this about? – you will need to enter to find out. A drive through the glorious Kent countryside, at its finest time of the year. 

 

Entry fee for each run will be a maximum of £25 for CSMA members,

£27 for non-members, inc. Cavalier & Chevette Club.  Limited places, be quick!
