The Spy Who Loved Me (James Bond
Film 1977.
As this Bond film gets repeated on a
regular basis I will tell you where you need to look in the film you need to
look. But you have got to be quick. It’s the scene when Bond follows Jaws
back to his Sherpa van. When bond hides behind a tree you will see the red
Chevette on the left. It will then cut to a side shot of Bond and the
Chevette is also in the background then. This scene was filmed Pinewood
Studio not on location so the cars you see are UK models.

The best episode to watch is the one
called ‘Driven to Distraction’ from 1989. The plot revolves around a
Vauxhall Dealer in Oxford. You see plenty of Vauxhall’s all through the
episode. There is a new Cavalier MK3 on the forecourt of the Garage, a MK2
Cavalier Calibre which is also for sale. Also Lewis is driving a blue F-Reg
MK3 Cavalier. Also featured is a MK1 Astra GTE, a Belmont SRI in the dealer
ship, Senator police cars and Nova’s.
