Black Magic                

One interesting one-off to come from the Vauxhall Design Centre was the Black Magic Chevette.  This came from the same people that had styles Silver Aero and Silver built, Wayne Cherry who was head of design at the time had a major influence on transforming Vauxhall’s.  Black Magic is a Chevette HS based experiment in aerodynamics and drag reduction, with deep skirts and HSR style spoilers; After some years languishing on the Design Centre roof, Black Magic along with Silver Built and Silver Aero were saved and restored to their former glory.
